Job Title of Opening: Market Research Analyst
Standard functions of a Market Research Analyst. Provide market research to support sales of oral hygiene products. Collect and analyze data on customer demographics, preferences, needs and buying habits with respect to oral hygiene products, to identify potential markets and align offerings with market demographics. Measure the effectiveness of marketing, advertising, and communication and marketing strategies. Collect and measure information on competitors (e.g. prices, marketing, distribution) to develop effective marketing and sales strategies. Evaluate pricing and terms to ensure competitive position in the market. Recommend necessary modifications. Coordinate marketing activities and policies to promote development of new product lines consistent with anticipated market trends. Use sales forecasting and strategic planning (e.g. IRI and AC Nielsen data) to achieve market research goals to ensure the sale and profitability of products. Prepare reports and findings, illustrating data graphically. Ensure that marketing policies and strategies are followed.
Requires a Bachelor's Degree in Business and 6 months experience. Experience as a Business Analyst is acceptable, or any suitable combination of education, training or experience thereof.
